The Low End

Do these words mean anything to you?: Garage, Jungle, Footwork, Hardcore, Grime, Drum and Bass

• Yes? Then you're in luck m8! (no further words needed).

• No? Then you're even luckier! A new expansion pack in the world of music has just landed on your eardrums. Few people look back at this point.

The Low End looks to explore the seemingly never ending cavern that is the world of underground dance music. Showcasing a range of different genres from across the globe, with a particular focus on the UK scene (aka the motherland, rip liz), the Low End will introduce you to the latest of trends and funkiest of grooves guaranteed to keep you boogying until the sun comes up.

From the 2-step bounce of UKG, to the percussive breaks of Jungle, or the sheer euphoria of hardcore, compared to the dystopian darkness of techno - I'm here to show you the music that I love. The music which keeps my feet moving and a smile on my face.

Be prepared for the sexiest of selections and deepest of dubs from the 'oh yeah I'd show to my parents', to the 'I feel sorry for Beethoven'; from million dollar international artists, to some 19yo bedroom producer running of a cracked version of Ableton; from the soundtrack of your sunset drinks to the music of early morning monsters. Either way, I promise you many moneys that there is at least one song that you might listen to again.
